October Accessories
Camping during the fall months is fun whether you are out for a family trip or are hunting. During October, you’ll want to accessorize your RV for the fall season and for Halloween. If you are staying at a campground during Halloween or the weeks before the holiday, adults and children like to look at spookily decorated RVs.
Stop by Specialty RV Sales in Lancaster, Ohio to pick up needed accessories for the RV, and be sure to stop at your local department store to pick up some October accessories.
Outdoor Accessories and Decorations
Decorate the awning with strings of orange lights. Be sure to pick outdoor lights or lights designed to work inside or outside so that the weather doesn’t short them out. Plastic pumpkins, witches, brooms and other Halloween décor make your spot spooktacular.
If you set up a table and grill outside even though it might be a bit chilly, cover the table with a plastic fall-colored tablecloth. Or, if you can find a Halloween-themed tablecloth, that is even better. Check the local area for corn stalks and hay bales. You can use the bales for extra seating or for holding decorations.
Indoor Accessories and Decorations
Use fall-themed or Halloween-themed dish towels, plates, table décor and wall décor inside the RV during the fall season. You can also pick up additional RV accessories that are not themed, but may be useful for the cooler months, at Specialty RV Sales.
Carpet and floor protectors are a must-have during this season, especially if it snows or if you go out hunting. There’s no telling what kind of mess you’ll have to track a deer through and you definitely don’t want to track mud and leaves onto your nice floors.
If you do happen to get a deer or turkey, you may need extra coolers to keep the meat cool until you can get it home to prep it for the freezer. You can pick up extra coolers at our parts store. Of course, you’ll want to taste that venison or turkey before you head home, so if you don’t have a cutting board, stop by and pick one up – preferably a larger cutting board, expecting that buck is going to be upwards of 250 pounds with a nice rack.
