The event will take place rain or shine under the 100-year-old pavilions at the Ohio State Fairgrounds and Expo Center. A 4-mile run, arts and crafts market, kids events, dachshund races, a stone toss, beer and wine garden, authentic German eats and tons of live music are just a few of the many treats and activities to enjoy at the event. The festival starts at 5 p.m. on Friday and will come to a close at 8 p.m. Sunday, so start planning your weekend getaway to Columbus today.
Oktoberfest Wilmington
If you can’t make it to Columbus for the city’s Oktoberfest celebration, you may be able to make it to a little bit smaller festival in Wilmington. But just because it’s smaller, doesn’t mean it won’t be as much fun. Oktoberfest Wilmington will take place on Friday, Sept. 26, and Saturday, Sept. 27, with tons of German and American food, tasty beers, games for kids and adults and incredible live music on schedule.
Beaver Oktoberfest
If you haven’t visited Beaver yet, there’s no better time to go than for the 30th Annual Beaver Oktoberfest. This small Ohio town comes to life with a huge parade, an incredible wood carving competition, a two-day car show, exciting carnival rides, live music, tons of food vendors and plenty of other activities for the entire family to enjoy. The Beaver Oktoberfest will take place Oct. 2-5, this year, and it is expected to be the biggest and best event yet.
